Kingdom Come

Based on the Marvel Comics series "Marvels", “Kingdom Come” is a DC comic series written by Alex Ross in 1996.

When it comes to the storyline, like any other DC’s Elseworld storyline Kingdom Come has its own distinct timeline and acts as a separate arc in and of itself.

The series circulates around a religious minister Norman Mccay who was created specifically for this miniseries.

The story is set on a world where all of DC’s iconic heroes are faced with civil war against the new generation of heroes, causing it to be destroyed.

The reason for the war takes place beforehand, as all our heroes, such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, have left and are replaced with a new breed of heroes, who while battling villains caused massive civilian casualties as these new heroes had no regard for such things.

Just like Norman, you guys might be wondering: “How did all this happen and what was the cause of it?”

The reason is disclosed when Norman Mccay receives a visit from the Spector who acts as a hand of god, punishing those who act unjust. He requests Norman to accompany him into judging who should be allowed to live and who should be allowed to die.

Spector explains that the Joker had poisoned the entire Daily Planet killing everyone and then was captured and killed by Magog. Instead of being asked for justification he was praised by everyone.

Coming to the present day, in order to put a stop to this war, the government launches a Nuclear Warhead. Shazam stops the warhead, killing himself and several others in the process.
Drowning with grief and in a state of revenge, Superman is consoled by Norman, coming to his senses.

In the end Superman leaves humanity in their own hands, to make decisions and govern themselves.

What this issue makes up emphasis on is that “no matter how strong and powerful you are, restraint is important. Everyone needs to a little humility and understanding. Killing and being vengeful is never the answer.”

DAWN OF X-FORCE

In terms of plot, it's impervious to state X-Force is the most significant companion series to Jonathan Hickman and Leinil Yu's recurrent X-Men comic. In any case, two issues in, possibly it's ideal to go above and beyond. This isn't only the most pivotal Dawn of X tie-in; it's really accomplishing more to establish the pace and heading of the establishment than X-Men itself. X-Force is quickly turning into the famous "on the off chance that you just read one X-Men comic..." title. What's more is that the series is just great on top of everything.

The entirety of this stems from issue #1's startling cliffhanger - the probable assassination of Charles Xavier. Indeed, even in a era where demise doesn't mean much for the X-Men any longer, that is a really serious deal. The inquiry is less whether Xavier's demise will stick for any genuine time span than how the X-Men's resurrection machine functions without such an essential segment set up. Also what turns out badly is, if a less experienced mystic commits an error. Those inquiries fuel an extremely quick paced and energizing followup part. We don't really find every one of the solutions yet, however the book jumps into the prompt aftermath of this death and the X-Men's reaction.

All the while, author Benjamin Percy and craftsman Joshua Cassara have a considerably more noteworthy stage where to set up what makes this manifestation of X-Force so not quite the same as the rest. The essential fixings are still there, with this being a covert squad of mutants entrusted with doing the filthy work so the remainder of the X-Men can keep their hands clean. The setting has a significant effect. This isn't a group of solidified killers working under the noses of Mutant Leaders like Xavier or Cyclops. Different creators have contrasted the new X-Force with the CIA, and that examination is particularly borne out in issue #2. This is an insight organization and wetworks squad folded into one, working as the arm of a truly perceived mutant government.

The cast additionally helps set this new series apart and feature the battles the X-Men face as they develop from superhuman group to actual mutant nation. Commonly, characters like Mammoth, Jean Dark and Child Omega would have no spot in X-Force. The previous two are idealists, and the last is only an idiotic child Wolverine has invested an unnecessary measure of energy attempting to recover. However, with regards to the new Dawn of X status quo, their potentiality bodes well. This issue concentrates a lot on the "righteous anger" these characters feel and the developing urgency as these veteran X-Men attempt to keep this surprising deception from unwinding everything Xavier endeavored to compose. This issue is commonly a lot darker than the remainder of the Beginning of X line (save for Fallen Angels) however it additionally realizes how to utilize characters like Child Omega ease up the spirits where necessary.

This series additionally includes Cassara's best Marvel work to date. The choice to combine Cassara with colorist Dean White has truly paid off, bringing about a book that catches the coarse, blood-drenched underbelly of the X-Men universe while likewise making adequate space for dreamlike, here and there even Psychedelic imaginary. There's a solid feeling of unease and desperation powering this story along, and the workmanship is basic in building and keeping up that earnestness.

In case you're just perusing one X-Men comic at the present time, it ought to most likely be X-Force. This series is accomplishing more than some other to investigate the new mutant squad quo as usual and the difficulties Krakoa faces from the outside world. That wouldn't mean a lot if the series weren't likewise pleasant to peruse, yet this creative team has demonstrated to be more than capable. X-Force peruses like a characteristic expansion of House of X and Powers of X while likewise building up its own firm feeling of personality and reason.

The All-Father (Odin) #85 #86

Odin Borson is the King of Asgard known as the land of the Norse gods of myth. As a highest warrior and killer of the ice giants, he is a force to observe. Also known as the All-Father, King Odin raised a son named Thor with whom he defends their godly realm against threats planetary, cosmic, and sometimes even familial.
Odin is the most powerful of the Asgardian gods. Possessing the massive energy source called the Odinpower, or Odinforce, Odin’s physical abilities are augmented, including superhuman strength, lifting up to 75 tons, superhuman durability, and regenerative powers. The Odinpower is used to channel cosmic energies into blasts of concussive force, energy shields, flight, interdimensional teleportation (capable of teleporting the entire realm of Asgard), heal the injuries of others, cast illusions, communicate with others across dimensional planes by manifesting an image of himself, rearrange matter at the molecular level, and increase his own physical size. At regular intervals, usually occurring once per year, Odin enters the “Odinsleep,” a coma-like state, to retain mastery over the Odinpower. On occasions when Odin is awakened prematurely, he is left groggy and unable to access his full power; if Odin foregoes the Odinsleep too long, his power and endurance falter until a complete Odinsleep is performed. Odin’s power also wanes if he spends too long away from Asgard. Odin then went to Aesheim (now called Midgard) and created the humans. Bor showed dislike over this and caused suffering for the humans. Initially struggling to control Mjolnir, Odin befriended a number of mystically-empowered prehistoric humans, forming the Stone Age Avengers to defend Earth from threats like the out-of-control Celestial known as the Fallen. Odin wanted to nail the Fallen's corpse to the Moon as a warning to other Celestials, but instead he and the Avengers sealed the Fallen in an underground chamber in the modern-day country of South Africa. He entered a romantic relationship with his comrade Lady Phoenix, who survived for longer than any of their comrades.

War of the Serpent

When Bor died, his son Cul proclaimed himself All-Father and ruler of Asgard but Odin, Vili, and Ve opposed him. Facing Cul's madness, perceived in his statements and actions against the mortals, wanting them to be afraid, Odin went to Yggdrasill and stabbed his eye as a sacrifice in exchange for wisdom, and was revealed that Cul was corrupted. The path to follow was then revealed to him by the World Tree via prophecy. along with his two brothers, Odin assaulted Cul's fortress. For forty days and forty nights, Cul and his Worthy remained hidden in the palace while his brothers slaughtered their Draumar forces and eventually broke in. Facing Odin, Cul denied their brotherhood, claiming to be the Serpent that Will Feast on the World. Odin recited the prophecy of the World Tree and then defeated his brother, projecting him away.

Burning Aesheim

Odin then massacred all of Aesheim, declaring that no God would ever live there again and renamed it Midgard. Leading his armies, he destroyed the realm, assaulting the fortresses of the mortals and killing every single one of them, billions of mortals tainted by the Serpent's sickness. Odin was known then as the Usurper or the Destroyer. He erased the memory of his brother, and became the All-Father, trying to rule with patience and compassion (unlike Cul), and trying to escape the World Tree prophecy.

Modern Age

After Thor became too arrogant, Odin decided it was time to teach him some humility. Odin confiscated Mjolnir and had Thor stripped off his godly powers. Odin sent him disguised as crippled young medical student called Donald Blake. While being Blake. Thor learned the value of life and learned to care for the dying and sick while being a med student. After Thor had spent 10 years as blake, Odin planted in his brain to visit Norway. There Blake encountered a party of alien Kronans, also known as the Stone Men from Saturn, and rediscovered his magical hammer Mjolnir. Odin continued to take a great interest in his son's life, even though there was often friction between them because of Thor's love for Earth and its inhabitants. When Thor fell in love with his assistant Jane Foster, Odin disapproved and went to great lengths to break the relationship: He sent Loki to persuade the Enchantress to travel to Earth and seduce Thor, and when that failed, Odin even traveled to Earth himself, which caused Loki to abuse his absence to try and claim the Asgardian throne for himself. When Thor decided to reveal his secret identity as Donald Blake to her, Odin temporarily removed his powers Odin was believed dead twice before, killed both times in combat with the Fire Giant Surtur; during the first instance Heimdall, and later Balder, ruled Asgard in his absence, and a later time Thor inherited Odin's full power and ruled over Asgard and, later, Earth, although this latter part of Thor's lordship was erased due to time travel. Odin's spirit was present during the final Ragnarok, freeing Thor from Hela's clutches to send him to Those Who Sit Above in Shadow. As Thor eventually destroyed the Loom of Fates and stopped Asgard from perpetuating Ragnarok - which ends the entire Norse pantheon and Asgard itself - Thor believed Odin might be dead permanently.

MARVEL VS DC contd...

DC began in 1934 though Marvel began some time later in 1939. So you could state that DC was miles ahead in putting out a larger number of comics than Marvel. What's more, if you've perused the old Detective comics you'll realize that DC was especially all around drawn and the folklore appended to it was unquestionably more unrivaled than Marvel's. DC took comic stories in intriguing new ways.

You consider Marvel and immediately you consider Spiderman, Iron-Man, HULK, Thor, Deadpool, Venom, X-Men, Avengers and Wolverine! To the extent the comics go, they are not all that very much drawn except for Spiderman and Deadpool who the lighthearted element of Marvel are. Marvel made several new characters, any semblance of which we had never observed.

In the Marvel versus DC film fight the contention has been enormous in the ongoing years. Starting with the year 2000, Marvel prevailing with regards to transforming the comics into well-known establishments, for example X-men motion picture arrangement or Spider-man. Later there showed up Thor films, The Avengers, Iron-man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and others Marvel has fabricated an entire true to life universe around all most well-known saints and keeps on doing that: the full Marvel motion picture discharge schedule is there till 2020. A portion of these motion pictures were an immense achievement (for example the primary Iron-man film).

At the point when we talk about the job of DC in this Marvel versus DC motion picture fight, The Dark Knight by Christopher Nolan promptly rings a bell. Prior to this motion picture, there were a few movies about Batman, yet until this day The Dark Knight is viewed as the perfect work of art, which can eclipse the fun and splendid Marvel motion pictures with its dimness, for which fans love DC to such an extent. In any case, it created the impression that The Dark Knight isn't sufficient to beat the developing Marvel Universe. That is the reason as of late DC has been attempting to get up to speed with them by discharging Man of Steel, Batman versus Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Suicide Squad; it is likewise intending to introduce Wonder Woman and The Justice League motion pictures. DC films additionally are film industry hits, yet now they are considerably more assaulted on by fans and pundits than Marvel motion pictures.

In Marvel versus DC game showdown the two organizations are fairly adjusted: they've been releasing games since 1980s and up to this point. The fundamental contrast, however, is that DC games are centered basically around Batman and Superman, while Marvel games are progressively different, including more characters from the Marvel Universe. Along these lines, Marvel versus DC game fight is still in a hurry.

WONDER WOMAN MOVIE REVIEW

Wonder Woman is the primary DCEU film that the general public can agree is stellar. It capabilities an amazing story, exceptional action scenes, and strong performances by means of its cast, especially Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.
Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), who become a standout in her debut in 2016's Batman v. Superman, is a warrior of the Amazons, a race it really is a part of the Greek Gods. This film features her origins from turning into a warrior princess to a hero of mankind. Born because the daughter of Zeus and raised as princess of Themyscira via Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen), Diana is supposed to sooner or later damage the God of War, Ares. One day, an American spy named Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) crash-lands in Themyscira and warns of a "war to stop all wars" (This film takes place for the duration of World War 1). Hoping to forestall the battle, Diana leaves with Trevor to enter the arena of man and meets with several allies to fight the German armies.
As the fourth installment in an already-struggling movie universe, there have been plenty of eyes on Patty Jenkins to make this film a domestic run, and she passed with flying colors. This movie offers a much-needed dose of levity to the DCEU, and it offers some other welcome touches. It additionally helps that there's no hint of the executive interference that plagued Suicide Squad and the theatrical reduce of BvS.
Gal Gadot was a standout in BvS, but she definitely gets her risk to shine right here. She's a very charismatic actress, and just like Robert Downey Jr. With Iron Man or Christian Bale as Batman, Gadot IS Wonder Woman.
Chris Pine is likewise brilliant as Steve Trevor. He's essentially the Watson to Diana's Sherlock, and he manages to offer this movie with a number of its exceptional moments, which includes one heck of a climatic act that I may not ruin right here. And do not worry, Trevor in no way steals the point of interest from Diana; this is very an awful lot Gadot's film.
The villain Ares manages to pose a few heavy questions about the role of human beings inside the suffering of others. I mean, let's face it, there are some honestly merciless human beings available, and a number of times it looks like absolutely everyone are like that. That stated, while humanity can suck, it is nonetheless a precious component it truly is well worth saving. That probable sounds sappy, however it is nevertheless authentic.
Wonder Woman: a major breakthrough for the DCEU, and I wish we see greater of this type of film on this franchise.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR REVIEW

Everything about this motion picture was extraordinary and fit in with the entire Marvel Universe flawlessly. At no time in the film was anything exhausting and each second of the motion picture was heart beating and energizing. It is superior to the initial two Avenger motion pictures and it is likewise altogether different from the initial two

The character interactions...well this was what we needed to see more than anything...and trust me ,the russo brothers conveyed more than what we expected. Not just that, the film gives satisfactory time for characters to develop and create in such a brief span outline, that you feel for every single character ...its a treat for the individuals who have pursued all mcu films and had made the characters some portion of their life.....the connection between these various characters is the thing that makes this film unique.....there are reunions...there are first meetings..the story... The gatekeepers get a great deal of screen time...and Thor-watchmen plot is composed all things considered that every single character is crucial to the communications are truly outstanding and most engaging minutes in the film .The trio framed by dr strange, peter parker and tony unmistakable was likewise very amazing..The first gathering between earths mightiest legends and the watchmen of the cosmic system is exceptionally clever ...The thanos-gamora relationship is all around investigated ..the film additionally gives plentiful time to vision-scarlett witch sentiment that was prodded in the trailers... commander america has a fantastic section ..we get the chance to see dark panther...bruce standard ..o well he has his own circular segment in the film and is entertaining.. etc...

Its the darkest and most passionate motion picture in the franchise..as the primary scene itself establishes the pace for the whole film. The stakes are higher than any time in recent memory and the ENDING will simply make you numb .Its not only a superhuman movie..Its a motion picture about love, relationship, sacrifice or more all poses an ethical inquiry

"under what condition is it just to exchange one honest life to spare others".

Batman and the Outsiders #6

This will be an intriguing book to talk about in light of the fact that I have a scope of considerations and feelings towards Batman and the Outsiders. I think there are a ton of extraordinary components and subjects found inside the book, and I think it is, by and large, engaging. Simultaneously, I don't feel as if Hill has totally discovered his mood writing immediately for comics . Each issue, up until this point, has contained such a restricted spotlight on a particular character or operation, it feels like the plot scarcely moves from issue to issue. That connects here.

When perusing for exchange however, I have absolute certainty that this will in all probability advantage the title on the grounds that the issues will tail each other like scenes in a film. The story won't need to suffer month-long hitches just to change the concentration to feature different individuals from the league. It will likewise remove the idea of, "The current month's issue centers around… " at the same time, rather, will feel like a consistent change. Until further notice however, all things considered, Batman and the Outsiders carries a touch of an unfocused account that slingshots us starting with one plot then onto the next every month… And that is not actually incredible for recurrent reading.

There's additionally the bothersome little issue of feeling somewhat unsurprising. Presently, I would prefer not to say that the book is self-evident, yet it feels somewhat like paint-by-numbers. What's more, this isn't to imply that that anything is terrible, simply that when I read an issue and an uncover happens, I don't get energized. I simply think, "No doubt, that bodes well." For instance, with the spotlight moving to Duke and Cassandra for this issue, we get the opportunity to see them experience villains attached to their past. As energizing as that may appear, the two individuals they experience are fairly clear when all is said and done. That doesn't imply that it isn't agreeable, it's just not as successful as it could be.

Proceeding with the ongoing pattern, Ra' al Ghul's dealings are certainly the most fascinating part of this title. He's scarcely in this issue, however he's by implication causing a remarkable mix. We study his terrific plan – explicitly that he has plans for Duke and Cassandra – however I can't resist the urge to feel that there's still more to this. That is to say, it's the Evil spirit all things considered. Some portion of his arrangements for Duke and Cassandra include giving every one of them an endowment of truth (which is the place the character uncovers referenced above become possibly the most important factor). While this is fascinating – and it is – it's very clear one of the new characters has a point they're filling in too!

AQUAMAN

If you ever hear DC fans talking they would go lie " I am the Aquaman of the group", meaning the least liked one, well if we really see it talking to fish does not appeal to a lot of people as a super power. Aquaman, the movie, came out in cinemas on December , 2018 and did a business of $1.148 billion, which is not very impressive for a DC movie. It has a 7/10 IMDB rating which tells us about the movie pretty much.
As Aquaman is the underdog of DC, they tried to revive the character of Aquaman by producing a movie and casting Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Lets get this straight Jason Momoa is a little bit too famous, in a certain age group, and it was a great move by DC but sometimes good actors just cannot over power a bad plot. Aquaman takes you to a certain point after which you feel like you are watching Ariel instead of Aquaman, it gets boring. DC has the better comics they just don;t know how to integrate their comics with the movie, which kind of makes it a mess. Aquaman, like Wonder Woman, has a superhero-mythological story but it just falls way short to climb the ladder as Wonder Woman. Movie would have been a bit better if it was of 2 hours, cutting down those extra 20 minutes. two villains in one movie was a little too much dragging, people do not want that much fight a reasonable amount works. There were a lot of flaws in the plot as well like Atlanta tells Arthur that whoever goes for the trident meets imminent death if he's not worthy of the trident and she has attempted it several times herself, she's the only one alive even after several attempts? Does not really makes sense now does it. Arthur and Mera's journey for Map of Trident is more of "Indiana Jones story" than Aquaman's. The whole Aquaman concept is based on the merging of two worlds and Arthur being born yet throughout the movie there is no connection shown between the two worlds it's like they are runnning two plots at one time. First Orm threatening the land with sea tides which just tried to kills Arthur's father (coincidence), then Black Manta coming to kills Arthur and losing, back to Orm who just wants the sea power now and does not want to avenge the land being anymore that is a bit too much plot to absorb for one movie. The humor lets just not talk about it because we just all know the reason (DC).
The cast of the movie was really great. You actually watch the whole movie in awe because let's face it CGI and direction was on point. The movie was goofy and silly, as comic fantasy should be. All in all it was not a movie I would watch again, one time was enough I guess.
The worst is yet to come!!!

SHAZAM!!!

As kids at some point all of us wanted to be that kind of superhero that appears when you do a sudden turn or say something magical and possess all the powers, well we finally got a dream come true movie based on the character SHAZAM!. Shazam was released on March 15, 2019 but it was not that great of a hit as it should’ve been because people didn’t know about SHAZAM that much.
In the start of the movie it is shown that Sivana is in a car ride with his father and older brother arguing about his belief of supernatural and how he had a dream about some secluded sanctuary and suddenly he is transported to the a mysterious place called “Rock of Eternity” where he is met with an Ancient Wizard named Shazam, last of his Council of Wizards. He is looking for a person who can become his successor but he has to be “Pure at Heart”.  To test Sivnna Shazam asks him to touch the Eye of Evil. Sivana is tempted by the power of it and proceeds to touch, it but suddenly he is transported back to reality.
In present, a kid name Billy Batson is shown whose parents died when he was little. He is a rebel, fighting social workers, fleeing police and pulling tricks on everyone. He is adopted by a couple named Rosa and Victor, who did not have kids of their own so they opened their house to orphan kids. They already had adopted 5 kids namely Mary, Freddy, Eugene, Pedro and Darla. Billy shares a space with the sarcastic Freddy, who is a DC super fan, and even has some Superman and Batman stuff. But then notwithstanding the affection around him, Billy's greatest objective is to break out and locate his mother who surrendered him a long time ago. Billy fights the bullies of foster brother, Freddy, the he runs and get onto a subway but suddenly everyone gets of the train and the sub starts going fast and Billy appears in the same mysterious place, Rock of Eternity, and meets the same Ancient Wizard. He tests Billy and realizes that Billy is his successor so he transfers his powers by making Billy say his name out loud Shazam! Now Billy is a teenage boy in the body of a grown man. Billy can turn into Shazam by saying the word (SHAZAM) and then he can turn back into his 14 years old self by saying the same word again
On the same time Sivana had been working all these years to access the Rock of Eternity and he manages to build a gateway. He goes there and releases the evil by taking the Eye of Sin. Sivana finds Billy and asks Billy to give him the power of Shazam but he refuses. In the end Billy realizes that he cannot fight Sivana on his own and for the whole movie his foster siblings had been by his side so he transfers them the power of Shazam as well and making a Shazamily.
Shazam was a very hilarious given how much DC struggles with humor in their movies. It is rated 7.1 on IMDB but I think it deserves more because it not an adult being superhero movie, it is actually a child’s fantasy come true. The movie gives a great message that your real family is the one that loves you and stands by your side no matter what. Its light-hearted fun movie and has positive messages. Shazam is one of those movies I would definitely watch again just for a good laugh. The part where Sivana unleashes his demons appeared to be disturbing for a lot of people because the shapes pf demons were scary which is true it got a bit dark at that point but I don’t think it should over shadow rest of the movie. All in all I would rate it at 8/10 but you can comment about your opinions on the movie.
BILLY!!? Nooo,
oh okay SHAZAM!!!

Dark Nights: Metal

In Scott Snyder's six-part Dark Nights: Metal!, we are introduced to a new villain for Batman and his allies to overcome. This villain is Barbatos, an entity that wishes to use Batman as a kind of gateway to enter his reality and conquer it. To accomplish this he pulls Batman into a different realm called the Dark Multiverse using different metals attached to his body at different times.

The story has many twists and turns. At one point Batman travels through time. The heroes battle Barbatos' servants they had met earlier known as the Court of Owls. When Barbatos enters the DC Multiverse he brings seven twisted evil version of Batman with him. One of these is the Batman Who Laughs, a fusion of Batman and the Joker. Readers will enjoy Batman teaming up with the Joker himself to take down this mixed form of both.

This miniseries features some of the most interesting mythology you will find in the entire DC Comics Universe. Barbatos is shown to have connections with different tribes and societies in different parts of history.

In the end Batman faces off against The Batman Who Laughs, getting into a bloody fight and just when The Batman Who Laughs is about to get the upper hand he is shot in the back by The Joker, killing the Bruce gone Joker. And on the other hand Barbatos is also killed, releasing all kinds of beings and giving way to new storylines but thats a blog for another day.

Crisis On Infinite Earths

As currently the CW is airing their TV version of Crisis, I thought to myself this maybe the right time for all of you to understand what the series is all about, according to the comics, so that you guys are fully aware of how accurate they are to the comics.

Just like Marvels infinity war, DC comics has its own set of series of comic storylines that are filled with powerful entities colliding with our favorite DC heroes. One of which is “Crisis On infinite earths.”

The whole plot of this series is that, the Anti-Monitor wants to replace the normal DC universe composed of normal matter and replace it with anti-matter, so that he could re-shape the entire universe according to his way and rule the universe as well as end the age of heroes.

There are several heroes involved in putting an end to the Anti-Monitors schemes but as we all know when it comes huge plots like these, there is always sacrifice involved.

The major characters involved in this series and their roles:
·         Monitor
·         Harbinger
·         Pariah
·         Superman
·         Superboy- Prime
·         Alexander Luthor Jr.
·         Flash (Barry Allen)
·         Psycho Pirate
·         Anti-Monitor

The Monitor: Mar Novu is a higher being overseeing and maintaining balance in the universe. The Monitor is involved in putting several heroes and villains together as they served a higher purpose together which was facing the Anti-Monitor.

Harbinger: Lyla Michaels or Harbinger manifested as the AI of the Monitor, jumping from universe to universe acting as a messenger for the Monitor and delivering his message to different heroes of the multiverse regarding the incoming crisis, bringing them to him in aiding him in fighting against the Anti-Monitor.

Pariah: The Monitor found Pariah and used his power to defeat the Anti-Monitor, as he could sense where the Anti-Monitor would strike.

Superman: Kal’s purpose was to defend and fend off any foes that were sent by the Anti- Monitor.

Superboy-Prime: A Darker version of superman, Superboy-prime is drawn into the crisis after his universe gets destroyed by the anti-matter wave.

Alexander Luthor Jr.: Originating from Earth-3, Alex Luthor gained his powers as an infant during the time when he was traveling through different dimensions. He has power in controlling both matter and anti-matter.

The Flash: In order to stop the crisis from taking place, Barry Allen played a significant role, running faster then ever, to undo the crisis, but in doing so, sacrificed his life, disappearing into the speedforce.

Psycho Pirate:  Roger Hayden, Psycho Pirate was brought to Earth-1 by Harbinger. His power was manipulating emotions. Due to which he was a great threat to the Anti-Monitor as he tried to kill the pirate on many occasions but ultimately succeeded in infinite Crisis issue #6 (touchdown).

Anti-Monitor: He is the counter part of the Monitor but is of the Anti-Matter Universe. He is the mastermind behind the Crisis. And his motives as I wrote earlier is to replace the matter universe with the Anti-matter and kill everyone that got in his path.

This is an amazing series written by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, that will make you dive into a realm of despair, tragedy, sacrifice as well as give you hope that even in the worst of times we should never lose hope as there’s always a way to beat the odds.

MCU VS DCEU

Marvel and DC had been the comic giants since 1930's and have had a huge name in that genre ever since. Just like comics they have made a huge name in cinematic universe too and fans are ready to fight over which universe is better. The rivalry between Marvel and DC is one of the well-known and greatest in the world. There are a lot of conflicts regarding which cinematic verse is more regarded, fans are willing to buy the tickets of their rivals just to watch the movie and criticize at it's level best. Although DC cinematic universe has a longer history of making movies than that of marvel but MCU (marvel cinematic universe) has made it's way up box office more than that of DC. DC's extended universe (DCEU) is more of a rival for MCU than DC's older movies and some of DCEU's movies can be seen giving MCU a hard time. Although MCU has a few competitive edges over DCEU like; their movie crossovers and their linked timeline, which reduces the complexity of story line for the audience. DCEU does not follow an exclusive pattern for their movies and it becomes difficult for a new person to catch up with the story and relate it with the other movies. MCU has also given its heroes individual trilogies which lead their recognition world-wide as individual characters. On the other hand DCEU has first movers advantage and people know more about the characters of DCEU more than they know about MCU. If you ask a person, who has no knowledge of this genre, about batman or super-man chances are they will have an idea of at least who they are on the other hand is you ask someone about Iron-Man or Captain America they might just look at you dumbstruck. Even if DCEU has not made as much revenue as MCU they surely have taken a fair share of awards home including 3 Oscars. These are just a few common differences every fan knows about but there is more to it than this so STAY TUNED.

Endgame vs Joker (MOVIE)

Marvel and DC had been at war since forever and fans are always comparing them, so I am here with a comparison between the most anticipated movies of all time. If we were to talk about the most anticipated movies we will eventually come down to Endgame (MCU) and Joker (DCEU). Now both these movies are entirely different from each other, based on story line etc, and it does not make sense to compare them but people had gone crazy for specifically these two movies and people who don't even know what these movies are about went to see them anyways. So I am comparing them based on the feedback.

After Infinity War there was a rumor of Infinity War part 2 but later it was denied but the fans knew that there is going to be another part given the ending of Infinity War. Endgame was released on April 22nd, 2019. After 89 days of release Endgame became the top grossing movie of all time with  $2,797,800,564 worldwide gross. Endgame is one of the most expensive movies of all time with a budget of $356 million. It has an IMDB rating of 8.5. Endgame was more anticipated by Marvel fans because it marked the end of an era. For me MCU could not have given a better end to the Avengers. The direction, story line, acting and all was just so on point that there is no room for change. MCU built the story of Endgame on previous 4 phases. Some people didn't like the movie because they were unable to comprehend the story line which is true because to understand the story of Endgame you must see all 4 Phases of MCU. It was like watching the last episode of the season and trying to understand the story for those people. Marvel really owns it's concept of science that are portrayed in the movie so if you do not have any idea of possibilities in science the movie will just look absurd to you and will not make any sense. The things that are showed in the movie might not be achievable but there are studies and theories on such subjects. For some people the movie was like a piece of entertainment you will not search for again, it does not leave you with any important information to retain.

Batman, Superman and Joker are the strongest characters of DC. Nearly everyone is familiar with the character of Joker at least fan or not, specially after the legendary performance Heath Ledger in Batman Dark Knight. After the popularity of Heath Ledger's joker when people heard that there will be a movie solely based on Joker they went crazy. Everyone expected to see a bit of Joker's history, his life style, why he was the way he was etc. Joker was released on August 31st, 2019. Joker has made to the top of the list in R-rated movies but is still at no.34 in top grossing movies with $1,054,941,623 worldwide gross. Joker had a budget of $55 million. It has an IMDB rating of 8.7. The concept of how society can turn an innocent man into evil was portrayed really well. It touched the audience at different emotional levels. For a person who had no general idea of what the movie was about, it was a great movie but when a fan goes to watch a movie they are expecting way too much. For me, I say flaws where the movie could have been better. They could've showed joker a little younger because he is 32 in the movie and Bruce Wayne is a kid. When Bruce Wayne grows up and fights joker, Joker is still young. Joker gave a concept of social abuse that was overseen by everyone and it leaves people with a scar, with a piece of information about how smallest of the things can effect someone at such great levels.

Overall, the two movies cannot be gauged on the same ground based on their discrepancy of genre. Endgame is a fiction movie whereas joker was a reality based psychological thriller. The fact that DC and Marvel deal with superhero genre really takes the core concept out of Joker movie as DC went for an entirely different route. As far as Oscars are concerned i think fans are going too over board with Joker because it had flaws as a movie and movies of different genres cannot compete for Oscars. If I were to chose between these two movies i would vote for Avengers Endgame. Reality is easier to write as compared to fiction. Fictions requires a lot more time, imagination and hard work.

AVENGERS ENDGAME REVIEW

Endgame is intended to be the most blockbuster of the considerable number of blockbusters, a motion picture with twelve subplots impacting, and natural countenances from more than 20 different films. It's truly similar to nothing that Hollywood has delivered previously,  existing not just to acknowledge or exploit the fans of this series, yet to remunerate their affection, tolerance, and undying veneration. The dull thing you presumably need to know most: It's difficult to see genuine MCU fans leaving this baffled. It checks all the cases, in any event, ticking off two or three ones that fans won't hope to be on the rundown. It's a wonderful end to a section of blockbuster history that will be difficult to top for unadulterated exhibition. As far as sheer stimulation esteem, it's on the higher finish of the MCU, a film that lifts its most famous saints to the incredible status they merit and gives a couple of genuine excites en route.

The mix of superheroic fight, nostalgic reunions, and time travel proposes, strangely, the great type of otherworldly military sentiment ("A Guy Named Joe," for example, which was changed by Steven Spielberg as "Always"). The pointed emotionalism in this reason—the arrival to the past, the reclamation of disappointments, the fixing of old bonds and the fashioning of new ones—recommends that a full film may have risen up out of "Endgame." Some scenes have a solid exaggerated power, and there are a couple of circumstances that instigate a motivated atmosphere of the uncanny. Be that as it may, these minutes become mixed up in the film's stiflingly unbending yet enlarged three-hour length. The Russos have unconventionally little feeling of visual delight, little feeling of magnificence, little feeling of allegory, little inclination for surface or sythesis; their astounding pride is simply one of scale, which is the reason their best minutes are peaceful and sensational ones. (For example, there's nothing here to match the fantasy of“Ant-Man” or “Doctor Strange,” not to mention the exciting political imagery of "black Panther.")
What works best about Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely's content for "Endgame" is that one feels, for seemingly the first run through, a feeling of thinking back rather than only attempting to prepare the table for something to come. This film fuses components of what fans know and love about the MCU, reviewing character beats, starting points, and the plots of motion pictures like "Iron Man," "Watchmen of the Galaxy," and "Chief America: The First Avenger." Call it modest fan administration, however perhaps the greatest issue with these movies, particularly "Vastness War," has been a feeling that they're just advertisements for motion pictures yet to be made. "Endgame" doesn't have that. Certainly, the MCU will go on, however this motion picture has an irrevocably and profundity given to it by MCU history that the others have needed.

Daredevil and Spiderman Crossover!!!

Marvels television characters have always been kept separate from its cinematic universe movies. We all know about the most popular television character and the only character of Marvel who made a huge success and recognition in the television industry through Netflix the ‘Daredevil’. As far as the current marvel cinematic universe is concerned phase 3 ended on a high note with Avengers Endgame succeeded by the continuing events in the solo Spiderman movie Far From Home. The post credit scene of Spiderman far from home leaves a strong possibility of a marvel TV character to make its debut in the next Spiderman movie now that the rights of the superhero are regained by marvel. In addition to this marvels head Kevin Feige in its interview talked about using the Netflix marvel characters in the MCU. In a recent interview Kevin was asked which superhero would you be most excited to get into the movie first? To which he replied that there are many good characters that can be used depending on what the contracts are and there will be a period after which the characters could be used. He further added that answering the question would itself be a spoiler.

Anyhow Kevin’s words hinted towards a possibility that we might see daredevil in the next Spiderman movie as the lawyer of Peter Parker. The post credit scene of far from home reveals that Mysterio released a footage that gets viral on the media in which he frames the drones attack on Spiderman. Now everyone believes that it was Spiderman who caused the attacks in London and killed Mysterio and his real identity of Peter Parker also gets revealed. As a result of these events Spiderman is now in a real messed up situation and to prove his innocence, he might need a lawyer and here enters who other than Matt Murdock aka Daredevil itself. This speculation if it comes true which the phase 4 of MCU would reveal in the future would be really exciting for the viewers. When it comes to comics, we have seen Daredevil and Spiderman in more than one occasions side by side of each other fighting villains with the most popular among them Wilson Fisk who goes by the name of Kingpin. Moreover, now that Netflix has cancelled Daredevil show in 2018 according to the contract Marvel can use the character after 2 years of cancellation which brings us to 2020. If marvel also sticks to the agreement of producing a solo Spiderman movie after every two years, then we could expect the next Spiderman movie in 2021 which gives marvel a lot of time to produce a content bringing the Spiderman and Daredevil together. The outlook of the matter looks as if everything is aligned for this crossover to become true, but time will tell if we can see both Spiderman and daredevil in the elder brother younger brother relationship that they have in the comics.

The Fallen Angel (Lucifer Morningstar)

Centuries ago, Lucifer Morningstar rebelled against the Kingdom of Heaven, and was thrown into a shapeless void known as the Chaoplasm. The Chaoplasm was transformed into an empty and barren land known by many as Hell, the final destination for damned souls. Here Morningstar ruled, awaiting the day he could be freed. His powers are deemed to be almost limitless and only second to the most powerful entity in the DC universe ‘The Presence’ and the arch-angel Michael Demiurgos. His powers include:
  • Nigh-Omnipotence: Despite other Archangels losing this power, Lucifer managed to retain it to the point where he can manipulate any cosmic force.
  • Cosmic Awareness
  • Energy Projection
  • Enhanced Intellect
  • Flight
  • Immortality: Lucifer cannot grow older with respect to time nor can he be killed. He can only be erased from existence by the presence.
  • Invulnerability
  • Magic: Lucifer is one the universe’s finest Magic users.
  • Matter Absorption
  • Necromancy: Lucifer has absolute control over the dead and control what happens to them.
  • Pyrokinesis: Lucifer can create, hold and control the Holy Fire according to his will.
  • Thermal-Blast: Lucifer can create flames at will.
  • Incineration: Lucifer’s flames are capable of incinerating any being in existence.
  • Dimensional Travel: Lucifer can create a Portal to hell whenever he wants.
  • Reality Alteration
  • Superhuman Stamina: Lucifer does not require food or sleep to operate.
  • Superhuman Strength
  • Superhuman Speed: Lucifer can circle the planet before he leaves your vision.
  • Telekinesis
  • Wings: As a fallen angel, Lucifer possesses large angelic wings.

In DC’s comic edition The Sandman Lucifer was forced to share his power after the Great Darkness's return, but Lucifer managed to keep most of his power. At one point a Cosmic entity, Dream of the Endless entered Hell searching for the Helm that had been stolen from him when he was imprisoned. After Dream recovered his helm and slighted him, Morningstar threatened to destroy Dream. Lucifer finally decided he was tired of his existence as the ruler of hell and decided to leave this position. Over that time, He manipulated various demons into fighting each other as well as led the war against heaven. However, at some point during his rule, he had become bored with this existence. He was fed up of how he was depicted among the mortals as the being who guided them to do wrong which was very untrue. He was simply there in hell to punish those who did wrong by their own choice and ended up with him. He had become tired of his reign over Hell and felt it was an unfair punishment that he should have to rule there forever simply because he once rebelled. He reached the final straw eventually and let every damned soul and demon escape hell and handed over the key to the Dream of the Endless. Eventually, control of Hell was handed over to two Angels, Duma (the angel of silence) and Remiel ("who stumbled rather than fell"), while Lucifer simply retired to Earth, specifically to Perth, Western Australia.
In the solo DC comic named Lucifer his storyline was explained after he was casted out of heaven and then he opens a piano bar called "Lux" in Los Angeles. Lucifer is portrayed as a rather charming and beautifully sophisticated man on the outside but on the inside, he was still the arch-angel with powers that were second only to his father Yahweh and as a result he had little to no respect or care for Mortal beings. Lucifer is however described as being the wisest and most handsome of all the angels that were present in heaven and he managed to keep most of it even after his fall making him an archangel. Despite his egoistic and narcissistic tendencies, he does follow a code of honor and respects his brother Michael Demiurgos. He also refuses to lie in any situation (A trait highly popular for the devil) but this should not in any way be confused with having virtue.

Thanos and The Infinity Gauntlet

We all know about Thanos as one of the most powerful and strongest villains in the Marvel universe. However, when we study Thanos from his comic book roots we can shed some light upon the earlier life of Thanos and how he emerged to be known as the ‘MAD TITAN’. Thanos has killed many innocent beings and presented superior strength over anyone who came across his way to the Gauntlet. But before leaving towards a killing spree in the thirst of gauntlet what was Thanos like in the childhood and his teenager life.
He was born on the Saturn moon ‘TITAN’ and belonged to a group of people called the Titanians who were the eternal beings. Titanians shared similar characteristics but the birth of Thanos came as a shock to everyone as the doctors saw it as a release of a demon. Initially doctors wanted to run some tests to diagnose why Thanos looked so different from others but his mother Sui-San refused to do so and accepted her son as a blessing and viewed him as a high strength individual who will never see the face of failure. During early stages of life Thanos stood as a unique being comparative to other kids of his age due to his physical appearance. He spent most of his childhood learning about the environment and his surroundings and became the Smartest kid in school. To mould and gel among other kids Thanos frequently attempted to learn about his genetics so that he could make other kids understand him better. Thanos took the matter to his father but was always ignored to be answered anything related to his appearance. As he became more popular in the school, he was admired by a mysterious girl who took quite interest in him. One day at school Thanos had to bisect a dead creature but it made him leave the lab and vomit. The same girl approached him and comforted him by telling that bisecting dead creatures would be easier if he does it more often. Thanos was not happy to hear that as he claimed he would not do that again ever even if it came in his way of becoming a great scientist like his father. The girl then told him that it is quite normal to feel like this and he should clear his head take some time and a great way to do is by visiting a forbidden cave. Thanos took her advice visited the cave along with his friends but much to their surprise the cave started rumbling and rocks stared to fell upon them. As a result, Thanos was trapped in the cave deserted from his friends for 3 days as he kept digging to reach the outer layers to find a way out. When thanos managed to escape, he found his friends dead bodies eaten by giant lizards that showed no interest in him due to his unattractive mutation. Finally, Thanos reached back to his civilization where everyone developed a theory that these killings were in fact done by Thanos himself as his inner demon has evolved instantly. Soon Thanos got deserted by his friends and people and only person who would still talk to him was that mysterious girl. She encouraged Thanos that if he really wanted to avenge his friends death, he should revisit the cave and kill all the creatures there. Along with that girl Thanos went back to the cave and attacked all creatures there with a knife as the girl witnessed the whole scenario from a distance. After a few years Thanos had completely rid himself of his fear and was successfully bisecting bodies and passed all his lab tests. Soon enough he discovered knowledge at school was not enough for him, so he decided to create his own secret lab where he studied living organisms. Up till this time Thanos considered himself as a valuable scientist looking for answers to the questions of his unprecedented existence. Considering his experiments, he started killing people of titan and the reinforcement of the mysterious girl led Thanos to believe that he actually enjoyed those killings and the experiments are just an excuse. In his maturity Thanos realized his true potential and continued his conflicted path of gaining ultimate power. He also killed his mother confessing the evil inside him and all the killings he had done on Titan. Eventually Thanos fell for that girl and proposed her but was welcomed by a slap from her. She told him how coward all these years he was of not accepting his true identity and that he is not worthy of love.

But Thanos’s love for her pushed him beyond the limits to impress her as she was manipulating him to follow her own sadistic agenda. That mysterious girl was in fact the demonstration of death and she was the one to plant the idea of infinity gauntlet in his mind after which he started another journey to gain the power of stones to impress his girl. This whole journey is than presented in marvellous manner by Marvel studios in their series of films called the Infinity Saga.

Dark Nights: Metal Character Origins

This is another amazing adaption on the DC comic universe written by Scott Snyder. Emphasizing more on everybody’s favorite character, the James Bond of the Justice League “Batman.” The series circulates around the Dark Multiverse.

As we all know that batman, amongst his fellow Justice League members is the most prominent when it comes to justice and maintaining order. But in this series Batman has a more dark and evil origin. Though batman somewhat retains his characteristics as a hero of justice, his methods? not so much.

In this series there are six different versions of Batman.
·         The Red Death
·         The Dawnbreaker
·         The Drowned
·         The Merciless
·         The Devastator
·         The Murder Machine

Character Overview

The Red Death: The origin is set on Earth -52, where the flash (Barry Allen) is being attacked by this worlds version of Batman who is armed by all the Rogues weapons. The reason for this is because Batman wants the flash’s speed, so that he can go back on time and prevent his parents murder and save all the Robins that have died.  But the flash speaking with experience (because flashpoint) refuses to do so and tells him about the consequences. Batman ignores his warning and continues to attack him with the Bat tank. Batman manages to freeze the flashes leg by injecting a freezing formula developed by Mr. Freeze. This provide batman enough time to attach flash to the batmobile which has repurpose cosmic treadmill driving him into the speedforce. Doing so, robs Barry of the speedforce creating a new speedster version of Batman “The Red Death”.

The Dawnbreaker: This Batman’s origin is set on Earth -32, the origin is somewhat the same as the original Batman, starts off in Gotham City in the crime alley where Bruce’s parents are murdered in cold blood by Joe Chill. Instead of being afraid he became extremely angry and felt no fear due to which he goes of in pursuit of Joe Chill, while doing so a Green Lantern ring appears and chooses Bruce to be the wielder, thus making him a Green Lantern. With his new power tries to kill Joe Chill but due to the first law of being a green lantern (lethal force not permitted), is unable to do so.  Bruce in outrage orders the ring to do as it being told overloads the ring with his Will power, enabling the lethal force, literally melting Joe Chill. After that he protected Gotham not as Batman but as the Green Lantern, killing every criminal as well as Jim Gordan.
After doing so he is faced by all the green lantern corp. as he led darkness into his ring. Bruce kills the entire corp. even the guardians. With that act and creating a huge power battery, he becomes “Dawnbreaker”.

The Drowned: Origin starts of on Earth -11, where Bryce Wayne (female Bruce Wayne) fought Meta Humans. Mainly to avenge the death of his lover Silvester Kyle (male Selena Kyle). She also killed a lot of Atlanteans and ultimately was faced by Aqua woman. Bryce went to war with the Atlanteans and killed Aqua woman by ramming her trident into her, hoping they would get the message but the Atlantean fleet drowned all of Gotham. Because of this Bryce realize she needed to step up her game, so she went through a surgical process to become just like the Atlanteans, not only that she even engineered an army fight by her side called the Dead Water. And that’s how she became “the Drowned”.

The Merciless: The comic starts off at Earth -12 where Batman and Wonder woman had been at war with Aries for 2 years because Aries had forged a helmet that magnified his power a hundred times more. Eventually he was defeated but at a loss of wonder woman’s life. Once the helmet was removed Bruce decided to put the helmet on (aware of its corrupt power) with the intention to reshape war in merciful manner but that didn’t last long. After a few months the helmet corrupted him, making Bruce kill everyone even those who he considered as friends. Hence creating “The Merciless”.

The Devastator: The Origin takes place on Earth -1, where superman goes crazy and start killing everyone, he even killed his wife Louis Lane. Batman tries to kill him with the kryptonite spear but get his arm cut off with superman’s heat vision. But then Batman inject himself with a Doomsday Virus he engineered, transforming him into Batman Doomsday hybrid and kills superman. But after doing so his mind got corrupted. Hence “The Devastator” was born.

The Murder Machine: The origin kicks off on Earth -44, where we see all of Batman’s Rogues gallery beating Alfred and asking where Batman is. Alfred not breaking is beaten to death.
Upset batman ask cyborg to help finish Alfred’s A.I. called the Alfred protocol. Cyborg helps the A.I. up and running but by doing so sees that it is killing everyone that deems a threat to Bruce. After this Cyborg asks Batman to deactivate the system as it was meant to kill off people, but Bruce refuses and says that he will fix the program. After the Cyborg left the AI infected Bruce’s body and creating “The Murder Machine”.

The review on the “Dark Night: Metal” coming soon.
